After a December announcement of the restaurant being for sale, Artisan Food Co. owner Tanya Cross will be working her last week at the 207 Ferguson St. location.
A Letter From Tanya
I’d like to thank each of my family members, friends and patrons, as well as the North Bay and surrounding communities, who have supported me over the past 5 years in operation at both the Callander and downtown locations. It will be bitter sweet to finish my final shift in the 207 Ferguson St. location on February 9, 2018. We would love to have you join us for lunch this week as we will be serving some of our past time favourites on special; most of which have come by special request!

For all of you who are wondering what happens next… I have to start by saying, I could not have done this without the talented and gifted team members I have been fortunate to have work along side me. It is my great pleasure to announce, that although I may be moving on to a new chapter, the restaurant will remain open under new ownership, from within the Artisan Food Co. family.
One of our talented staff; who will be the new owner at 207 Ferguson St., joined our team upon our arrival to the downtown location in September 2016 and has been instrumental in helping to establish our presence in North Bay. As the new owner, she plans to carry on the 'Artisan' passion for food. Although a new restaurant name (to be announced!) will be introduced soon, many of the favourites on the Artisan Food Co. menu will remain available with the addition of some new specialties. I encourage you all to support the new owner in her endeavor, just as I will be there for her to ensure a smooth transition.
Important note! If anyone has gift certificates still needing to be used, we will be honouring them until February 16th!
What happens next for me… I am now looking forward to much desired time to spend with my one-year-old twins, while exploring new studies and taking Artisan Food Co. in an exciting new direction. Rest assured, this is not the last you’ve heard from me!
